"There were no black people near." "Black people were mean to me." These are some of the statements that I've heard or have been messaged to me directly. The funny part is, I hear it from men, women, AND non-binary folks. We are going to have a discussion about this train of that and discuss where some of these thought patterns originated and what we can do about it going forward.
Trigger warning though, there may be things said that you do not agree with. I will for sure most like NOT agree with you. In order to heal our community, we're going to have to confront the shadow and do the work and that definitely isn't fun, pretty, or for POSERS
